Service description

Mailrecord checks the published DNS records (MX, SPF, DMARC, DKIM) for a domain you specify. It does not send, receive, or test mail delivery. It does not store domains, track users, or log queries. There is no account system.

Use at your own risk

Mailrecord is provided "as is" without any warranty, express or implied. The DNS records reported are a snapshot of what was published at the time of the query. Mailrecord does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any DNS information displayed. DNS records may be cached, misconfigured, or change between queries.

No liability

In no event shall the operator of Mailrecord be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this service. You use Mailrecord at your own discretion and risk.

Acceptable use

No account or data

Because Mailrecord has no account system and stores no data, there is no mechanism for account suspension, data deletion requests, or user authentication. All usage is anonymous and ephemeral.

Billing

Current status: The Pro plan is not yet available. No payment processor is connected. There is no billing infrastructure and no way to take money from you today.

This section describes how billing will work when Pro launches. It is provided so you know what to expect.

What you buy

The Pro plan gives you access to additional features beyond the Free plan: batch domain checks (up to 10 at once), programmatic API access via a key, higher rate limits, and historical comparison of DNS check results. Exact features are listed on the Pricing page.

Price and billing period

The Pro plan costs $6 per month, billed monthly. You will be charged on the same day each month starting from the day you subscribe. There is no annual plan, no setup fee, and no minimum commitment — you can cancel at any time before the next billing date and not be charged again.

Failed payments

If a monthly charge fails (e.g. your card is declined or expired):

Refund policy

Because the Pro plan has no minimum commitment and can be cancelled at any time before the next billing date, refunds are not offered for partial months. If you cancel, your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period and then reverts to Free. If you believe you were charged in error, contact the operator (see the note below on legal entity).

No refund policy can be binding until the operator establishes a registered legal entity and jurisdiction (see note at the bottom of this page).

Changes to pricing

The price of the Pro plan may change in the future. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price increase and may cancel without penalty before the new price takes effect.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated at any time. The current version is always published at this URL. Continued use of Mailrecord after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Note on legal entity: Mailrecord does not have a registered legal entity, company name, or jurisdiction yet. No binding terms of service can be established until the operator supplies these details. These terms are provided as an informational statement of intended use. See Privacy for data handling information.
